The T28, while still part of our aviation line, was made by inspiration by the USS-Drum, the Gato-class U.S. submarine which served mostly through the 1940´s. It can be seen today at Battleship Alabama Memorial Park in Mobile Alabama, and admired for the 12 battle stars it received. The font on the T28 is militaristic and the buttons on both sides of the strap are reminiscent of army uniforms. The movement is Swiss made quartz by Ronda. Like all Torgoen pieces the leather is Italian and the case, clasp, and all else steel, is of only high grade stainless steel.
